Women By Women 2024
WomeWon by Women
In 2024, we celebrated the leadership of women and girls who are reclaiming the narrative about refugees. We also spotlighted the women’s rights organisations and ActionAid partners providing life-saving support to refugees and those seeking asylum while challenging the discrimination they often face.
During our launch event at the gallery@oxo in the Oxo Tower in London, journalist and radio presenter Sangita Myska hosted a panel discussion about the importance of shattering stereotypes surrounding refugees with Jarmila Rybicka, the CEO of Conflict Kitchen in Poland, Photographer F Dilek Yurdakul, ActionAid UK’s Anti-Racist Storytelling Manager Maria Saidy and ActionAid UK’s co-CEO and Director of Impact and Innovation, Taahra Ghazi.
